Dreams – Most distressing incidents (At times)

What are dreams? Are they worth considering? Are they based on our recent thoughts and experiences?
The previous day I came across an article Hyderabad on terror alert again, which stated that Hyderabad was put on terror alert again, that two terrorists have entered the city to plan attacks. I just remembered the twin blasts in the city in August, 2007 and worried about the people who were killed and injured in that twin blasts. Though I did not go much into that, I could not forget the day when I went to give my condolence to my ex colleague for losing her niece (aged 19 years, a very beautiful, intelligent first girl to her sister-in-law) in those blasts.
After that, I reached my home, I spent very good time with my aunt and mom, had dinner and went to bed after having a very good time (Chatting, Commenting the dancers in Zee Telugu dance program, sending and receiving sms, etc…).
Unlike regularly, I took much time to have a sound sleep. I went into the sound sleep and got lost into dreams. Strangely, all of my dreams were dire.
Dream 1: A bomb blast took place close to my office; I got stuck in the heavy traffic which was diverted to the way I pass by to reach my office daily and the blast was dreadful, with raised terror in the city, which made police alert and scared people trying to find some way to escape from the danger. Also being one of the scared people, I was trying to inform about the situation to my mom and my friends and looking for help from them to take me away from that place, all of a sudden, I woke up and I was totally wet with sweat and with a severe head ache.
I drank some water, switched on my mobile and after noticing the time, I felt uncomfortable to sleep again since it was 2:30am. I read a few sms from my mobile and tried to get diverted from that dream so that I could sleep again with fresh mind.
Unfortunately, I was into another dream. There was an alarming warning in our colony that there was a girl roaming around the streets in the colony, who was very dangerous. All residents in the colony were advised not to open the door when that girl came and knocked house doors. It was a Sunday; I was at my house with my mom. Heard someone knocking the door, I opened it, unexpectedly, I found some girl taking out something from her pocket to throw it on me. Suddenly I realised she was the girl everyone was talking about. I tried to shut the door, and called my mom in a very loud voice. We both tried to shut the door, but the girl was applying all her force to her strength and trying to cause danger to me. Again I woke up; I was sweating and noticed the time was 6.15 am.
My day has started with a very severe head ache, and in a very bad mood. I am still trying to understand, how these dreams are linked and why did they come into my mind.

If you really want to understand why dreams come, read this http://www.19.5degs.com/ebook/interpretation-of-dreams/766/read#list e-book version of Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Frued. I have’nt read it, so don’t even think about asking what it’s all about.
As for your dream: It’s just another dream. You have some good ones and some really bad ones. This is somewhere in between. I actually found the second one quite funny. Poor girl, may be she just came down to ask some water after all the walking around in your colony.

Haha… Bt, she didn’t ask me for water. I saw her taking some liquid from her pocket – in my dream.

Even I am a victim of such dreams but rarely.
Just listen to few good numbers or put on your dvd and watch your favorite movie for a while or talk to your LOVED ones to get off that mood.
But these will form a great source of entertainment when we narrate them to others.

Thats true Vinay. My second dream made me laugh so much. That was a very small girl and Me and mom were pushing the door putting all our efforts to shut the door, but that small girl is not allowing us to close the door and she is pushing our main door only with her one hand. How can this be possible? Only in dreams. isn’t it? Just like in movies

Dreams are a way of communication. We shouldn’t look at them literally and try to interpret them. Try reading between the lines… Maybe you can come up with something…
