Aakashamantha – Next movie in my list
Posted April 1, 2009 by pramodasanthiCategories: Movie Review
Tags: 2006, Aakasamantha, Akasamantha movie, Bommarillu, daughter, Dil Raju, Hyderabad, India, Movie Review, Prakash Raj, son, Trisha
Sources rated the movie as 3/5.
After going through the movie review, I feel that the movie could be on the lines of 2006’s Bommarillu. However, in Aakashamantha, the story is in between dad and daughter, whereas in Bommarillu, the story was in between dad and son.
I found a few more similarities in both the movies. The concept looks similar and both the movies are produced by Dil raju and Prakash Raj played the dad role in both the movies.
Anyway, I loved Bommarillu and I like Prakasha Raj’s action.
Eagerly waiting to watch Aakashamantha.

The term ‘Ugadi’ is derived from Yuga + aadi, which means, yuga is era and aadi is the start. Ugadi is the first big festival which starts the Telugu New Year. This festival is celebrated mainly by the people of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Maharastra people also celebrate the same day as Gaudi Padwa and Sinshis celebrate as Cheti Chand.
Depending on the Hindu calendar which is a lunisolar calendar, Ugadi is celebrated on different day every year unlike the English New Year.
Like every festival day, people start this festival day with ritual showers, new dresses and special dishes. The significant tradition of this festival is to decorate house doors and pooja mandir with fresh and green mango leaves, and people prepare a special dish called ‘Ugadi Pachadi’. This pachadi is prepared in every Adhra home on this festival day. The pachadi contains the sweetness of jaggery, the sourness of tamarind, the bitterness of neemflower and the bitter flavour of the green mango skin, spice of the chilli powder, raw tender mango’s taste and salt. This is a unique flavoured pachadi, which resembles the mixture of feelings in everyone’s life.
Happy Ugadi to everyone!

After a long wait, Tata Motors’s Tata Nano was launched in Mumbai yesterday. People had high expectations on Nano as it is available for a very comfortable price to the middle men. It is available in three models—standard model, CX model with heating, ventilation and air condition and LX model with central locking, front power windows in three premium shades.
Though Nano is best price-wise for many people, with its 623 cc rear engine, its maximum speed of 120km and its petrol capacity of 15 liters, I feel it will not run smooth on high ways and don’t know how will it increase the four wheelers count followed by increased traffic on the city roads.

Holi is the colourful festival celebrated by Indians. Mainly this festival is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains. Holi is also known as Dhulandi. In Nepal, Holi is considered as one of the greatest festivals, as important as Dussehra and Diwali in India.
The death of Holika ‘sister of Hiranyakashipu’ is celebrated as Holi.
It is said that throwing colours on eachother has some benefits. The natural colours have medical significance which helps people in the weather conditions in the spring season. Unfortunately, instead of using natural colours, synthetic colours are being used these days.
Be careful friends.
HAPPY HOLI!
